Shauna McQuay, Instructor
Shauna McQuay is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of Early Childhood Education and Social Service Work. Holding a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Studies, Shauna has honed her skills and knowledge to foster effective learning environments and provide academic leadership.
Shauna’s educational journey began at George Brown College, where she earned an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Leadership and a Diploma in Social Service Work. Throughout her academic career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to learning and teaching.
With a passion for inspiring students and promoting inclusive learning, Shauna has excelled in various roles within the early childhood education sector. As an Early Learning Inclusion Consultant, she assessed program needs, facilitated workshops, and implemented diverse curricula and pedagogy to support children’s development. Additionally, as a Registered Early Childhood Educator, she implemented inclusive curricula and supported children with diverse needs.
Outside of her work in early childhood education, Shauna has demonstrated her dedication to social service by working with disenfranchised folks in downtown Toronto. Her compassionate approach, coupled with her understanding of anti-oppressive frameworks, has enabled her to support marginalized communities effectively.
