Program Length: 12 Months
Potential Second Year: 2000 Hours On-The-Job Training
Program Modules: Health and Safety, Hair and Scalp Treatments, Hair Salon Functions, Hair Cut and Style, Permanent Hair Wave and Chemical Relaxing, Color and Lighten Hair.

Written, Practical, Clinical
For qualifying Year 2 Students – Hair Dressing License Prep and Exam (After completing in class and apprenticeship requirements.)

The hairdressing course is offered on a full-time basis for a period of 12 months. The course consists of 1500 hours of training at a Designated Learning Institute. After graduating, based on the potential of an extended Study Permit, you may complete 2000 hours of on-the-job apprenticeship hairdressing training before writing the Certificate of Qualification examination to become a licensed Hairstylist.

Students will be exposed to the most relevant and modern aspects of Hair Styling. You will be given the knowledge required to undertake a career as Hairstylist and start their own business in the same field. Students will also learn the importance of the professional ethics and work with L’Oreal Professional Color Treatments, Matrix and Rusk products.
