Read below about why it’s important and when and where you can donate products!
We’ve been dreaming of launching this product donation program to bring our Beautiful network of Artists and Enthusiasts together to make a difference.
We’ll be gathering and delivering the beauty and personal hygiene products to local shelters and organizations that can hand it directly over to the men and women that need it the most!
This isn’t just for the holidays. The need is there year round so we will be collecting and donating the products quarterly or as our blue beauty barrel fills up! At the moment the barrel is at our Brampton Campus however we hope to have these donation barrels at all Campus locations and at Salons around the city in the near future!
For this month, we are gathering products to create Hygiene Kits. All products must be unused and unopened. Please help us collect the following types of products: soap, shampoo, conditioner, brushes and combs, deodorant, dental hygiene products, lotion, hand sanitizer, and feminine hygiene products. Cosmetics are also welcome.
DONATION DATES: Sundays Dec 12th & 19th
10am to 4pm
*Bring a product and leave with a holiday gift! (while supplies last)
LOCATION: GLOW College Brampton Campus
Unit 8 – 350 Rutherford Rd South, (Reception). *Campus Tours will NOT be available on donation days. Thanks for understanding.
DECEMBER RECIPIENT: The Elizabeth Fry Society of Peel-Halton who empower women and girls, and strengthen their well-being through prevention, support, reintegration, and advocacy efforts.
***There’s a shortage of personal grooming products and cosmetics in certain communities around Ontario and we can now work together on a regular basis to fill the need, or atleast start and make a difference for one group of deserving people at a time.
